<image:caption>"Carolina Blue" was inspired by the experience of being infatuated with someone through social media. For many, social media is a huge part of our daily lives. Through platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram, we sometimes find ourselves falling for a person we've never met. "Carolina Blue" explores the emotional build up of falling in love with someone based on the fantasy scenarios we create from what they post. It’s hard to not get swept up in an imaginary relationship. In the end, reality sinks in and you recognize that you’re just dancing on the surface with an illusion.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Madelyn’s First Single “For You” came out May 20th of 2020 and is available on all platforms. “For You” is a reflection on the missed connections in a relationship - where timing and passions did not line up. The conviction builds throughout the song as you process the timeline of the relationship and how much of yourself you sacrificed for little in return. In the end, there is a sense of resolution that you will not repeat the same mistakes.</image:caption>
